The recent State Budget was focused on delivering cost of living relief to Queenslanders, including:

• $550 Electricity Rebate for all households (Deducted Straight from your power bill)
• $1072 Electricity Rebate for Pensioners and Concession Card Holders
• $650 Electricty Rebate for Small Businesses
• Making Kindy Free (Up to $4,600 saving for families)

Other Highlights:

• $1.1b increase in funding for social housing projects
• Doubling Housing Investment Fund to $2b
• $2.9b in additional ambulance and hospital funding
• $70m increase in patient travel subsidy
• $150 swim school vouchers for 30,000 families
• $12b budget surplus
• $75m for a new multi-level carpark at Mackay Base Hospital.
